What is Speedfunding™

Speedfunding™ is a networking event designed to enable businesses seeking angel funding to pitch their business ideas on a one to one basis to a number of interested business angels at the same event. The idea is based around the idea of the 'elevator pitch' - the rapid individual pitch that all entrepreneurs seeking funding are advised to prepare.

Based on the principle of speed-dating, entrepreneurs have three minutes to pitch to an investor. Investors are then invited to spend 1 minute asking the entrepreneur questions about the idea or concept before the whistle goes and entrepreneurs move on.

The Speedfunding™ section of the evening lasts approximately 1 hour, after which time there is the opportunity to network and for investors to find out more about those companies that interest them.
